We are a small coffee shop located in the heart of Gatlinburg and have been a mainstay here for 30+ years. We are the oldest roasting coffee shop in Gatlinburg, bringing our coffee to many homes all across the country!

We are seeking someone with a willingness to learn and a good work ethic. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a sometimes fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a team-oriented atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
```Duties```
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to brew coffee and steam milk
- Ensure that the coffee station is clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following all food safety guidelines
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring that each customer has a positive experience
```Experience```
- No previous experience is required, paid training will be provided
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and sales transactions is beneficial
- Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic food handling knowledge to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
