About the Role
We're a behavioral health and recovery-focused organization operating sober living in the Denver area. We're hiring a pre-licensed clinician or clinical intern to lead evening therapeutic groups for residents in early recovery. This is real clinical work in a supportive setting — and a strong fit if you're accruing supervised hours toward full licensure.
You'll facilitate structured, clinically oriented process and skills groups, helping residents build the tools they need to sustain recovery. Group topics include:
- Relapse prevention and early-recovery planning
- Identifying and managing triggers and cravings
- Coping skills and distress tolerance
- Emotion regulation
- Communication and interpersonal/relationship skills
- Processing the challenges of early recovery in a peer setting
What We Offer
- $30/hour, 12–20 hours per week
- Clinical supervision included — supervised hours toward your Colorado license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Evening schedule that pairs well with daytime coursework, practicum, or another role
- Hands-on group facilitation experience in a substance use / recovery setting
- A collaborative team that invests in your clinical development
Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
- Registered (or eligible to register) with Colorado DORA as a candidate or intern — LPCC, MFTC, SWC, or program practicum/internship status
- Comfortable leading groups and holding space for clients in early recovery
- Reliable, professional, and able to commit to a consistent evening schedule
- Genuine interest in substance use treatment and recovery
Prior group facilitation or substance use experience is a plus but not required — we provide supervision and support.
Schedule & Commitment
Groups run in the evenings from 6-9pm. There is some flexibility with scheduling, depending on your needs.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
