Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food preparation areas, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet or serving stations.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage.
- Handle weight-based food items with care during preparation and serving, following proper manual handling techniques.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dining areas by clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste disposal.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by engaging positively with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
- Experience with food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage in friendly in-person interactions.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including weight handling in the workplace.
