Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tradeshow Senior Manager to lead the strategic planning and flawless execution of high-impact global trade shows and branded event experiences. This role is pivotal in elevating our market presence, supporting pipeline generation, and delivering memorable, high-performing attendee experiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Events, you will own major event programs from inception through post-event analysis, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure each event aligns with brand objectives and business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Program Ownership: Drive all phases of major trade shows and flagship events (12-14 annually), including planning, budgeting, scheduling, onsite execution, and post-event reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Marketing Operations to integrate messaging, assets, and staffing plans seamlessly.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Coordinate with exhibit houses, freight carriers, A/V providers, venue staff, and other external partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective event delivery.
- On-Site Leadership: Lead onsite operations, overseeing booth construction, troubleshooting issues, managing staff schedules, and ensuring seamless attendee and internal team experiences.
- Budget and Performance Analytics: Monitor expenditures against budgets, reconcile invoices, and analyze event data to assess success and inform future strategies.
- Operational Planning: Develop comprehensive event briefs, playbooks, and support materials to ensure clarity and efficiency for all stakeholders.
- Special Event Support: Facilitate planning and execution of product user conferences, including booth design, experiential activations, and branded environments, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale corporate tradeshows, third-party conferences, or experiential marketing campaigns.
- Proven project management capabilities with ability to juggle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong vendor management, budgeting, and onsite logistics expertise with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with event management and collaboration tools such as Jifflenow, Swoogo, G-Suite, Zoom, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional weekends and extended onsite coverage.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting enterprise technology, security, or infrastructure brands.
- Background managing global event programs involving multiple regional stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical messaging into engaging attendee experiences.
- Proficiency in leveraging event data and post-event reports to refine future event strategies.
