Bakers’ Signs is in need of a Full Time Experienced Sign/Graphic Designer to join our award-winning team!
Key Responsibilities
Design Creation: Work with Sales Team and Project Managers to develop initial design concepts, drafts, and final layouts for signs that meet the requirements of the project.
Material & Production Coordination: Selecting appropriate colors, fonts, and materials, and providing final file layouts for production and fabrication
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all designs comply with local zoning laws and accessibility standards, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Project Management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating with production teams to meet the requirements of the processes.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in design software like Corel and Adobe.
Qualifications & Skills:
Design Principles: A strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of sign-making materials, fabrication processes, and how to prepare files for printing and routing
Client Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultation and project collaboration.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in designs and files
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful signage design projects
Education & Experience: A background in graphic design, with experience with signs.
