Description:
The Northeast Regional Director (RD) is part of the Moving Traditions Partnership Team. Regional Directors are responsible for using sales strategies to engage new and existing Moving Traditions partners (synagogues, JCCs, summer camps, etc.) in using our 5-12 grade curricular programs to serve their adolescents and parents. The RD provides ongoing support and guidance to all partners in their region through building relationships. This position plays a key role in Moving Traditions’ goal of expanding our reach to impact more Jewish youth, their parents and the educators and teen engagement staff who work with them. The ideal candidate for this position is an educator that has an entrepreneurial spirit, an established Jewish communal network in the Northeast region, excellent communication skills and follow through, and a strong commitment to the Moving Traditions mission. A passion for facilitation, public speaking and presentations is also essential as regional staff are called on to facilitate our curriculum and represent our organization both locally and nationally.
While this is a remote position, Regional Directors must reside in the region they manage, and will be expected to attend in person meetings, conferences and facilitate educational opportunities and events throughout the year. We are seeking candidates located in the New York City or the Boston metro area.
