Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Maintenance Handyman to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to tackle diverse maintenance tasks. Whether working on plumbing, electrical systems, or carpentry projects, you’ll play a key role in keeping our facilities running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance including repairs to pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Handle HVAC system repairs such as filter replacements, ductwork adjustments, and troubleshooting temperature control issues.
- Use hand tools and power tools for carpentry tasks like maintenance painting, building interior repairs, or furniture fixes.
- Assist with welding projects when needed to repair metal components or structures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities equipment maintenance.
- Electrical experience including wiring, schematics reading, and electrical equipment repair.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems and plumbing repair techniques.
- Experience working with HVAC systems and performing HVAC repairs.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; welding skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of maintenance painting and building interior upkeep.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork; supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate well with colleagues across departments.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
