Summary: Quality Assurance Senior Caregiver provides care to our clients, conducts
on-site Quality Assurance visits, conducts introduction of caregivers to clients, mentors less experienced caregivers, fills open shifts and leads the start of services for new clients. This position must be flexible to provide care to clients in the Richmond area on very short notice.
This position will need to be available to fill open shifts to support clients when there is a call out of a caregiver from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays.
Duties and Responsibilities Required of the Position:
- Conducts Quality Assurance meetings with clients and caregivers and shares observations with the Scheduling team
- Flexibility to support caregiving care requests in the metro Richmond area on short notice, support the on boarding of new clients, clients with complex medical conditions
- Fills open shifts and callouts during the week from 8 am to 6 pm
- Demonstrates competency in all areas of caregiving,
- Mentor less experienced caregivers on providing care, documenting caregiver observations and utilization of systems,
- Act as the lead caregiver for complex clients.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Accommodate reasonable requests of care recipients and families,
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with care recipients, care recipient’s family members, caregivers, and office staff, following specific communication guidelines,
- Understanding of software programs and the ability to train other caregivers on software,
- Document and assess care recipient’s situation and changes in condition.
- Ability to support clients throughout the metro Richmond area
- Ability to support clients during and after normal business hours and some weekend

- Have reliable transportation,
- Ability to lift at least 25 poundS
- Time management skills, to arrive at work on time and complete the tasks outlined by the SYNERGY office during the scheduled shift.
Professional Qualifications Required for Senior Caregiver and Field Assistant:
- Experience as a Caregiver,
- Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance,
- Current CPR designation and negative TB results
