Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for food and service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and attentive manner.
- Manage tables effectively, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Operate a cash register and process payments accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to guests.
- Ensure that all food safety and handling practices are followed.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements through OpenTable.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills, ensuring that tables are turned over promptly and that all guests receive timely service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and concerns.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with other staff members to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, ensuring that the dining area remains welcoming and comfortable for all guests.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining establishment is highly preferred.
- A strong understanding of food preparation and presentation is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and OpenTable is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure seamless service.
Skills:
Need experience with Japanese restaurant at least 1 year
