Responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation for medical appointments, social services, legal consultations, and other client interactions in Spanish and English.
- Support cross-cultural communication by explaining cultural nuances and ensuring cultural competency standards are met.
- Achieve HIPAA compliance by safeguarding protected health information (PHI) during all interpretation activities.

Experience
- Proven experience in medical interpretation within healthcare or social service environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Multilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies, and ethical guidelines governing healthcare interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Experience working in hospital settings highly desirable.
