Launch Pad Learning PMD is seeking an experienced independent janitorial services provider to clean our approximately 7,000 sq. ft. preschool facility in Palmdale on a nightly basis.
This is a contract opportunity for an established cleaning business or self-employed cleaning professional who provides janitorial services independently. The selected contractor will help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for the children we serve.
Schedule / Service Window
Cleaning must be completed nightly after the preschool closes and before it reopens the next morning.
Available cleaning window:
After 7:00 PM and before 5:30 AM
The contractor may determine the exact timing of services within this window, provided all agreed cleaning duties are completed before the facility opens.

Scope of Services
The selected contractor will provide nightly janitorial services for a preschool facility. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, entryways, and common areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, counters, sinks, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Cleaning children’s restrooms and staff restrooms
- Emptying trash and replacing liners
- Collecting and disposing of garbage and waste
- Operating cleaning equipment safely and appropriately
- Using designated chemicals and cleaning products safely and in accordance with product instructions
- Transporting cleaning products, supplies, and equipment from room to room as needed
- Notifying management of maintenance concerns, supply shortages, safety issues, or unusual conditions observed during cleaning
Additional periodic deep-cleaning services may be discussed separately.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- At least one year of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training
- Experience cleaning schools, childcare centers, offices, medical offices, or similar facilities preferred
- Ability to work independently and complete services consistently
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions related to facility cleaning needs
- Ability to work safely in an environment containing cleaning chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise
- Ability to perform physical activities required for cleaning work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing, climbing, twisting, walking, and moving supplies or equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Availability during the nightly cleaning window
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred contractor qualifications:
- Established cleaning business or self-employed janitorial service provider
- Active business license, if applicable
- General liability insurance
- Ability to provide invoice-based billing
- Own cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Independent Contractor Relationship
This is a contract opportunity and is not an employment position. The selected provider will be responsible for determining the manner and method of performing the cleaning services, subject to meeting agreed facility cleanliness and safety standards.
The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, supplies, and business expenses, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, scope of services, supplies provided, and proposed nightly or monthly service rate.
