American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Rock Island, IL, requiring 2 years of experience and active IL and IA RN licenses.

Day shift position with hours from 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Med-Surg setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center
-
Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
-
EMR: Epic
-
13-week contract
-
Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license also required (may be pending at start but must be obtained)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines required
-
Experience with vasoactive and cardiac drip titration required (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban)

Valid Driver's License required

One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required

Skills checklist completed within the past year required

Must have a taxable home address located more than 50 miles from the facility

Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the management of progressive care patients

Travelers are required to work 1–2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
