Overview
Busy, fast-paced family practice clinic seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and able to multitask in a clinical setting.
Duties
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist provider during visits
- Perform EKGs, injections, and basic lab procedures
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Document accurately in EMR
- Handle phone calls, refills, and patient communication
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/RMA)
- Prior experience in family practice or primary care preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
