Job Purpose
Affordable Care is seeking a Director, Integrated Marketing to lead the development, integration, and operational execution of marketing initiatives across all patient-facing channels.
This role is responsible for connecting brand strategy to execution—ensuring that marketing efforts across national and local channels are aligned, scalable, and consistently delivered across a network of 400+ supported practices.
The Director serves as the central orchestrator of integrated marketing efforts and a key driver of marketing transformation, responsible for evolving how marketing operates across people, processes, partners, and platforms. This includes establishing a best-in-class vendor ecosystem and building scalable systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and performance.
This role partners across brand, media, CRM, pricing/product and field teams to improve operational efficiency and ensure a consistent, high-quality patient experience at every touchpoint.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that align with growth and transformation goals
- Establish and evolve the marketing operating model, including campaign planning, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and cross-functional workflows
- Drive a marketing transformation agenda focused on improving speed, scalability, consistency, and effectiveness across all channels and supported practices
- Define and implement standardized processes and systems that enable efficient, repeatable execution across a network of 400+ supported practices
- Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated across channels, including website, social media, email/CRM, paid media, and in-practice experiences
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns, including promotional, seasonal, and always-on initiatives, ensuring coordination across all channels
- Oversee the development and management of a best-in-class marketing vendor ecosystem, including agencies, production partners, media partners, and technology providers
- Own vendor strategy, selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring partners deliver high-quality work aligned to brand standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives
- Establish clear scopes of work, performance expectations, and operating rhythms with external partners to improve accountability, efficiency, and output quality
- Identify opportunities to optimize agency models, production workflows, and external spend to drive greater efficiency and impact
- Oversee the integration of patient journey insights into marketing execution
- Partner with analytics and insights teams to translate research and performance data into actionable campaign improvements
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards across all marketing channels and supported practices, including adherence to voice, tone, and visual guidelines
- Collaborate with field leadership and supported practices to ensure marketing programs are actionable, accessible, and effective at the local level
- Identify, implement, and optimize marketing technologies and platforms that support workflow management, content distribution, and campaign execution
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand management, or marketing operations, preferably in a multi-location or regulated environment
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-channel marketing initiatives that connect brand strategy to execution
- Proven experience managing and optimizing external agency and vendor ecosystems, including creative, media, production, and technology partners
- Strong understanding of marketing operations, including campaign planning, workflow design, and process optimization
- Experience leading or contributing to marketing transformation initiatives, including operating model design, process standardization, and system implementation
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving internal teams, external partners, and distributed stakeholders
- Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing, including awareness, consideration, and conversion strategies
- Experience working with distributed or multi-location business models, supporting both national and local marketing needs
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance optimization strategies
- Ability to translate consumer insights into actionable marketing strategies, particularly in high-consideration categories where trust and confidence are critical to conversion
- Experience implementing and managing marketing technologies, including project management systems, CMS platforms, and marketing automation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and drive clarity across complex initiatives
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build, manage, and develop high-performing teams
