We have an exciting opportunity available immediately at our client facility near the Portland airport off Colfax St in NE Portland. This is a full time evening modified shift doing nothing but scrubbing production floors. 40 hours per week. The exact schedule will be Sunday through Thursday. Hours will be 10am to 630pm on Sundays and 4pm to 1030pm Monday-Thursday. Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with raise to $20 per hour after successful completion of 90 day probationary period and initial training. Punctuality/being on time to every shift and attendance will be very important to this position. previous experience with operating floor equipment and/or experience working on a commercial janitorial floor crew is strongly preferred, however we can train the right candidate if you previous janitorial experience and are willing to learn/follow instructions. This client has specific access requirements and as such you will need to have a valid US Passport, birth certificate or valid/unexpired work authorization/naturalization documentation in order to gain an access card to work at this facility. If you do not have one of these documents, we will not be able to offer you this position. If you were born in the US, but do not have a birth certificate in hand, we may be able to assist you with instruction on how to obtain one, however this will slow the hiring process, but not make it impossible. - Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with overall management of floor work scheduling and upcoming needs to floors to support overall upkeep.
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
