Fort Billings FCU is looking for a Member Service Representative to serve as a primary financial liaison for Members. A Teller and Financial Specialist, handling daily transactions, opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and cross-selling Credit Union products to fit Member's specific financial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and cash advances accurately while balancing a cash drawer daily.
- Account Services: Open and close Consumer accounts (Checking, Savings, CDs, IRAs); perform routine account maintenance, i.e. address changes or ordering debit cards.
- Consumer Lending: Take Consumer Loan applications (Auto, Personal, Credit Cards); verify required documentation; assist with Loan Disbursements.
- Needs-Based Sales: Assess Member's financial needs and proactively cross-sell Credit Union products/services to help them reach their financial goals.
- Digital Support: Educate Members on how to use online/mobile banking, digital apps, and ATM/debit card features.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all Federal and State banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and OFAC guidelines.
- Notary or Medallion Signature a plus

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: (6) six months to (2) two years of Customer Service, Cash Handling, or Financial/Banking experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern core processing software and standard office technology.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
