Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks
- Conduct wheel alignments and perform tire balancing to optimize vehicle handling and safety
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Perform automotive fluid replacements, including oil changes and coolant top-offs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Support automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical or electrical issues affecting vehicle performance
- Assist customers by explaining services needed, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive service experience
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as a Tire Technician or mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Experience with standard passenger car operation and basic automotive diagnostics
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures and vehicle maintenance practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires or vehicle components
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
