JOB SUMMARY:
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for finding, interviewing, and hiring candidates to fill open positions for all active accounts.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Screens Resumes and Applications and selects the right candidate.
- Coordinate and Perform Interviews.
- Assist with new hires, interpret, and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Initiates the Onboarding process, including background checks, drug tests, and offer letters.
- Partners with leadership to ensure an adequate pipeline of applicants to fill current positions.
- Build strong long-term client relationships by providing quality-driven placement services.
- Attend Job Fairs, Hiring Events, and Mixers.
- Gathering useful and important information by phone, letter, email, or in person.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Must be willing to travel 25%.
- Other duties as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Sr. Staffing Manager and/or Regional Area Manager. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority and must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to the DLP Staffing LLC, Drug-Free Workplace Policy, which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of recruiting experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable making decisions independently.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
- Must pass a background check.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Used to work on office equipment and computers for long periods.
- Able to identify opportunities for administrative improvement.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
Other:
Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
