BLOX is looking for an entry level fabrication welder to join our team. Because we are so customer centered, each day can have a new feel to it with a variety of tasks needing attention.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and safety oriented

- Ability to work with most types of hand tools

- Welding knowledge/education/training
Main Duties/responsibilities:
- Read/understand blueprints
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to solve problems
- SMAW welding
- MIG welding
- Acetylene Oxygen Torch setup and use
- Safely able to use shop tools
Bonus Skills:
- Wood framing experience
- Steel stud framing experience
- Interior trim
- Flooring
- Drywall hang/finish
- HVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing knowledge
Essential Physical Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach, lift, pull and push with hands and arms. The employee will be required to periodically lift up to 40lbs above their head and 50lbs at a dead lift. The employee will be required, on a regular basis, to climb/use an extension ladder and work above 15 feet comfortably.
