Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, behavior strategies, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, behavioral incidents, and developmental assessments in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Manage classroom routines effectively while fostering an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings; familiarity with toddler care and preschool teaching is essential.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to guide behavior positively and constructively.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
