- Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration equipment (ammonia focus).
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Accurately document services, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Drive safety culture: adhere to procedures and collaborate with teammates.
- Operate/engage with forklifts, pallet jacks; work from ladders; use fall protection; follow Lockout/Tagout.
- Track developments in HVAC/R and refrigeration technology.
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- 1+ year of mechanical work experience in the past 2 years (cumulative across employers acceptable).
- Rehire policy: eligible after 365 days and fewer than 3 prior terms at this facility.
- Age 18+ with valid identification.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, chillers, boilers, and refrigerants (ammonia preferred).
- Ability to read and follow assignments.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs; climbing stairs to 120 ft and ladders to 60 ft; standing for long periods; working in extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
