Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated laborer to assist with installing water and sewer main lines under an existing paved roadway. This role is hands-on and critical to the success of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with laying water and sewer main (PVC, HDPE, C-900, ductile iron)
- Set grade using pipe and rotating lasers and grade stakes
- Install services (water, sewer, fire lines) into lots
- Work in trenches (with trench boxes) safely and efficiently
- Assist with asphalt demo and site cleanup
- Support excavator operators and foreman
Requirements:
- Previous underground utility experience preferred (not required for the right person)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Comfortable working in trenches and around heavy equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
- Ability to follow direction and communicate effectively
Preferred:
- Experience with pipe installation, reading stakes, and grading
- OSHA 10 or trench safety knowledge
Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
