Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation on immigration matters, helping clients navigate complex immigration laws and procedures. Duties
- Prepare, review, and file various immigration petitions, applications, and waivers with government agencies.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding visa options, green cards, asylum, deportation defense, and other immigration-related issues.
- Conduct detailed legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on immigration laws and policies.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and depositions related to immigration cases.
- Develop case strategies by analyzing client circumstances and coordinating with other legal professionals when necessary.
- Draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, affidavits, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently using legal case management systems while maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and case developments.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of immigration law procedures, statutes, and regulations.
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for statutory and procedural law updates.
- Proven experience in court depositions, trial preparation, and litigation within immigration contexts.
- Excellent negotiation skills for client advocacy and settlement discussions.
- Familiarity with estate planning, family law, employment law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law & personal injury case experience.
- Ability to draft contracts, legal motions, pleadings, and other legal documents accurately.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and courtroom presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle general & commercial litigation alongside specialized areas such as workers' compensation law or environmental law when applicable.
- Experience with legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis combined with strong procedural law knowledge.
- Skilled in legal negotiation and advocacy with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Adept at managing multiple cases efficiently within a busy law office environment while maintaining high standards of legal writing and case management.

Pay: $86,784.34 - $104,514.48 per year
