We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Sanitation Worker for the Night Shift to uphold the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards within our warehouse environment. This role is essential in maintaining a sanitary workspace that promotes operational efficiency and complies with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the warehouse remains a clean and organized facility, supporting the overall productivity of our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure floors, surfaces, and storage areas are thoroughly sanitized.
- Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing to preserve flooring quality and safety.
- Assist with custodial duties related to industrial cleaning, including cleaning machinery, workstations, and high-touch areas.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for cleaning equipment or structural issues affecting sanitation.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of completed sanitation tasks and supply inventory levels for restocking purposes.
Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing procedures.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor polishers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment.
