Join our vibrant team at Coffee At Dawn in Langley, WA, where passionate about coffee and food and outstanding customer service! As a line cook, you will be working with team of really nice people preparing simple causal meals for our cozy café in the woods of Langley, Your energetic attitude and dedication will help us serve high-quality delicious food,. This paid position includes great tips ($10,000 to $13,000 extra per year) that are pooled with the team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a lively, community-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of foods with precision and flair, ensuring each plate meets our high standards.
- You'll be supported by 3 others.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen..Standard food service guidelines strictly adhered to. Health and safety are critical.
- Assist with food handling and preparation, including basic food service tasks like assembling sandwiches, salads, egg dishes etc.
- We have a beautiful cafe in the woods with a full specialty coffee bar, artisan made baked goods, and breakfast or lunch all day.
- Our hours are mornings and we close at 2pm. There's plenty of time to go to the beach!

Requirements
- Previous cook experience in the food service industry and knowledge is critical for your success.
- Strong skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and working in a positive environment.
