Ox Exteriors, LLC is a fast-growing turnkey exterior construction company serving residential and commercial builders across Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Alabama. Our service lines include siding, roofing, gutters, and motorized screens. We are expanding our estimating leadership and looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to help drive accuracy, margin discipline, and team performance.
The Role
You will co-lead our estimating team alongside our existing Senior Estimator, reporting to the VP of Operations. This is a hands-on role — you will produce estimates yourself while also influencing process improvements and helping elevate the team around you. Your work directly impacts project margins and builder relationships at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed material takeoffs and produce accurate estimates for siding, roofing, gutter, and exterior installations using PlanSwift.
- Compile precise bills of materials and scopes of work that hold up through procurement and field execution.
- Co-lead the estimating team — set standards, identify process gaps, and mentor junior estimators.
- Upload completed estimates and documentation into JobNimbus; support project managers through the job handoff process.
- Monitor awarded jobs against original estimates and provide feedback that improves future bid accuracy.
- Maintain builder and vendor relationships; stay current on material pricing and market conditions.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in exterior envelope trades — siding, roofing, or gutters in a new construction environment.
- PlanSwift proficiency strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or influence an estimating team and drive process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, scope discipline, and accountability for margin accuracy.
- Clear communicator — comfortable working across estimating, operations, and builder-facing conversations.
