St. John the Beloved School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic elementary educator.
Position Overview
- Teach elementary students for the full academic year
- Plan and deliver engaging, intellectually stimulating instruction
- Foster inquiry, creativity, and joyful learning
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students
- Communicate professionally with students, families, colleagues, and administration
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure the developmental success of every child
- Commit to ongoing professional growth
- Model and promote the mission and charism of the school
- Other duties as needed per the direction of administration
Catholic Identity Commitment
• Support the teachings, values, and traditions of the Catholic Church • Contribute to the faith life of the school community
- Uphold the ministry of Catholic education in word and example
Required Qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for Delaware licensing/certification
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Elementary Education from an accredited institution
- Teaching experience preferred (at least one year)
- Successful completion of all required background checks
Salary to commensurate with experience
