LITIGATION PARALEGAL – PERSONAL INJURY TRIAL TEAM
Schneider Injury Law | Atlanta, GA | In-Person Only | Full-Time
COMPENSATION: $85,000 – $95,000 base | Total compensation up to $130,000+ with performance bonuses

BEFORE YOU APPLY — PLEASE READ THIS
We are a plaintiff-side personal injury trial boutique in Atlanta. We handle complex, high-stakes cases. We are not a volume shop.
We have hired paralegals who interviewed exceptionally and performed less than adequately. We are not interested in doing that again.
If your resume says trial experience but your actual trial work was limited to organizing binders the week before a hearing — this is not the right fit.
If you have strong credentials and expect a senior salary in exchange for senior-level output only on the days that suit you — this is not the right fit.
If you have genuinely owned complex PI files, operated without hand-holding, and want to be part of a tight trial team where your contribution is visible and your effort is rewarded — keep reading.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work directly with a trial attorney on catastrophic motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, premises liability, dog bite, and sexual assault litigation across metro Atlanta and surrounding counties.
This is not a support role. You will own your files from pre-suit through trial and resolution. You will manage deadlines, drive case progression, and be a genuine contributor to outcomes — not a cog in a machine.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO
This is not a job description written by HR. This is what your weeks will look like.
- Manage assigned cases from pre-suit through trial — not just your piece of it, the whole file
- Manage deadlines, discovery timelines, and case progression independently without waiting to be reminded
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery (ROGs, RPDs, RFAs), subpoenas, and trial filings with minimal revision needed
- Handle complex discovery management — large productions, deficiency tracking, privilege logs, exhibit organization
- Coordinate with clients, experts, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors across Georgia courts
- Prepare trial materials: witness files, exhibit binders, chronologies, trial notebooks, and demonstratives
- Maintain electronic case files and litigation calendars with precision — nothing falls through the cracks
- Communicate directly with clients during difficult moments with empathy, professionalism, and clarity
- Step in where needed. Small firm means all hands when the work demands it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT WE NEED TO BE TRUE ABOUT YOU
Non-negotiable:
- 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
- Real trial support experience — not just prep week
- Working knowledge of Georgia civil procedure and local court practices
- Advanced drafting with minimal supervision and minimal revision needed
- Proficiency with LexisNexis, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, Slack, and CasePeer
- Ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously without dropping details
What separates the candidates we hire from the candidates we don't:
- You find problems before they find you
- You operate without needing to be checked on
- You take ownership end-to-end, not just your assigned tasks
- You communicate proactively — not when asked
- You bring the same effort on a slow Tuesday as the week before trial
- Your references will confirm everything above without hesitation — because we will call them

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with verified experience)
Performance Bonuses per quarter (tied to file management, deadlines, and initiative)
Incentive Bonuses
Paid time off and firm-recognized holidays
A strong performer reaches $110,000 – $130,000+ in year one. The base reflects verified experience — the performance structure rewards the effort we are looking for. The candidate who is confident in their own abilities will not be deterred by that structure.

WHY THIS POSITION IS UNIQUE
This is a trial team. The work is real, fast-moving, and collaborative. We do not micromanage, but we have high expectations. But this is more than a firm, this is a movement. This is a real chance for making meaningful change in this world.
