About Us
True Performance is a neurological rehabilitation, sports performance, and functional medicine clinic located in Rancho Santa Fe. We take an individualized, root-cause approach to health by combining cutting-edge therapies with evidence-informed naturopathic medicine to help patients optimize their health, recovery, and performance.
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing team. This role will primarily involve administering IV nutrient therapy under the supervision of our Naturopathic Doctor while providing an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV vitamin, hydration, and nutrient therapies as prescribed by the Naturopathic Doctor
- Out-patient or in-patient clinics
- Perform venipuncture and establish peripheral IV access
- Monitor patients before, during, and after IV treatments
- Document treatments accurately in electronic medical records
- Prepare IV bags using sterile technique
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and answer questions
- Maintain treatment rooms and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering medical supplies
- Support providers with patient care as needed
- Help create a welcoming, professional clinic environment
Qualifications
- Current California LVN license in good standing
- IV therapy and venipuncture experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working in a wellness, sports performance, and functional medicine setting
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Preferred Experience
- Functional medicine or integrative medicine
- Wellness or IV infusion clinics
- Sports medicine or rehabilitation
- EMR documentation
- Experience working alongside naturopathic or integrative physicians
