Position:
We are looking for a Sign Fabricator and Installer to join our team. This job is a mix of working in our shop to help build signs and working out in the field to help install them. You’ll learn to use tools and equipment, work with your hands, and see the results of your hard work every day. If you enjoy building things, working with a team, and being part of interesting projects, this could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
In the Shop (Fabrication):
- Cut, paint, and prepare materials for signs.
- Use hand and shop tools (saws, sanders, etc.) safely and correctly.
- Follow written instructions to make parts and signs with accuracy.
- Keep the shop and tools clean and organized.
- Learn to use other machines (printers, laminators, vinyl plotters) as you grow in the role.
In the Field (Installation):
- Help load and unload vehicles with tools and materials for each job.
- Install signs and displays at customer sites.
- Use lifts, bucket trucks, and other equipment safely.
- Assist with welding, electrical work, and metal work as needed.
- Work safely and follow instructions for each project.
- Be professional and positive with customers on-site.
Other Duties:
- Work with your supervisor and teammates to finish projects on time.
- Keep good records of materials used and work done.
- Help keep company vehicles and tools in good shape.
- Pitch in with general maintenance around the shop or building when needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in signs, construction, electrical work, or similar work is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable, on time, and able to follow instructions closely.
- Able to solve problems and adapt when things change on the job.
- Pays attention to detail and takes pride in good work.
