Seeking a Certified Phlebotomist role at primary care office in Riverview, FL.
Ideal candidate will have experience in blood-draw and other laboratory tasks. Will also have experience with EMR, specifically ECW.
Job duties consist of:
- Routine blood-draw (approximately 30-40 sticks per day)
- Ordering and Obtaining lab results knowlage of codes a must
- Calling patients with lab results and provider treatment plans
- Managing lab inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Calling lab/insurance to troubleshoot and resolve billing/specimen issues
- Performing quality control testing for CLIA-waived tests
- Monitoring lab fridge temperature
- Assisting back office/front office as needed
- Writing lab script and emailing them to patients
This is a full-time position, Monday - Thursday from 630am - 3:00 PM. Fridays 630-1:00pm Benefits include paid time off, disability insurance, and 401-K after 1 year employment.
Candidate must be willing to undergo a background screening prior to employment.
