Overview
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Laundromat Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and positive environment for our customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping the laundromat clean and organized, enjoys interacting with customers, and is willing to assist with our Wash & Fold service. This role requires someone who is reliable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Keep the laundromat clean, neat, and presentable throughout the shift.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and provide helpful assistance when needed.
- Assist customers with questions about the laundromat, machines, and services.
- Assist with the Wash & Fold service, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing customers’ clothing.
- Handle customers’ clothing carefully and respectfully.
- Keep work areas, folding tables, machines, floors, and other common areas clean and organized.
- Monitor the laundromat and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
- Follow proper procedures for Wash & Fold orders and ensure customer clothing is handled accurately.
- Complete routine cleaning and other tasks as needed to keep the facility operating smoothly.
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Previous experience washing and folding clothing is preferred.
- Comfortable handling, sorting, washing, drying, and folding customers’ clothing with care and attention to detail.
- Experience using the PayRange app or similar mobile payment systems is preferred.
- Comfortable assisting customers with using the PayRange app when needed.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle customers’ belongings responsibly.
