Dynamic and detail-oriented Technician specializing in Access Controls and Security Systems to join our team. We also have a Senior role available as well.
Latest access control technology, including CCTV surveillance, IP cameras, Network Video Recorders, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), readers, sensors, and door security integrations.
Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of hopitals/ schools/ businesses by delivering exceptional service and technical support.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and program access control systems, CCTV cameras, sensors, fire alarms, and other low-voltage electrical security equipment according to schematics and electrical blueprints.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to security system hardware and software, including equipment failures, wiring problems, and system malfunctions.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform repairs on security systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately install or modify security infrastructure.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support remotely or on-site for alarm & access control systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Read low-voltage electrical wiring diagrams and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliant installations.
- Assist with cabling, electrical wiring, and integration of door security systems with existing building infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and reports for all work performed.
- Support construction teams during new builds or renovations by providing expert advice on security system placement and integration.
Experience
- 2+ years proven experience as a service technician in electrical security system installation or maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to low-voltage electrical systems, cabling, sensors, CCTV surveillance equipment, and fire alarm systems.
- Hands-on experience with hardware/ software setup for security devices and remote access software configuration.
- Familiarity with system design principles for alarm & access control systems as well as physical security solutions.
- Knowledge of telecommunication wiring standards (NEC) and low-voltage electrical wiring practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Prior construction experience or working knowledge of building infrastructure is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment necessary for installation and troubleshooting tasks.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
