Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that all machining processes meet quality standards, safety regulations, and production deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation.
Duties
- Set up CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and other equipment such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machine, ensuring proper tooling and calibration.
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CNC programming software to produce complex parts with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and material specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, fabrication tools, and forklifts for materials handling and component movement within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, maintain a clean workspace, and document production data accurately for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with GD&T standards is essential.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication processes, materials handling, and machining techniques.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other quality control tools.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design programs is preferred; knowledge of CAM programming is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances; familiarity with factory safety procedures is required.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience involving assembly lines or packaging processes is beneficial. Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator where your skills will drive the production of high-quality components! We value safety, precision, innovation, and teamwork — all essential ingredients for success in our fast-moving manufacturing environment.
