Part-Time Medical Receptionist
Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (approximately 24 hours per week)
Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional office environment. Medical office experience is helpful but not required. Strong customer service skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn are most important.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
- Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient communications
- Help onboard new patients and explain office processes
- Manage incoming faxes and office correspondence
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
- Support daily administrative and operational needs of the practice

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, customer service, or reception role
- Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience ($16-$21/hour)
