Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging various types of meat products to meet quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food handling and culinary craftsmanship, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Duties
- Cut, trim, and prepare different cuts of meat according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation tasks related to meat products, ensuring proper handling and hygiene practices.
- Package meat items securely for retail or wholesale distribution while maintaining presentation quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support inventory management by rotating stock, checking for freshness, and reporting shortages or spoilage.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation, and temperature controls.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about meat cuts, preparation tips, and product details.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food production, kitchen work, or the food industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques are essential.
- Familiarity with food handling safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation, packaging, and presentation in a retail or restaurant setting is a plus.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers when needed.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
