Job Overview
XCA Composites, a Franklin company, is seeking an experienced spray application painter to join our team in Stephentown, NY. This position will be responsible for the consistent, high-quality finishes of our composite products.
Duties Include:
- Mixing and applying primer, paint, clear coat and other finishing products to composite parts
- Operating and maintaining spray equipment and paint booths
- Overseeing finishing of composite parts in preparation for painting
- Inspecting product aesthetics
- Maintaining departmental safety, cleanliness, regulatory requirements, and quality
- Participation in continuous improvement activities and development of departmental best practices
- Routine troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Experience in spray application painting – composite, plastic parts, or auto body a big plus
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Detail-oriented
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- A problem-solver with an eye for continuous improvement
- Able to treat others respectfully
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with opportunities for overtime.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
