Searching for after school workers to work with our amazing kids! Hours are 3:00-5:30 in a Pre-K 2 year old, Pre-K 3 year old & Pre-K 4 year old position, and 3:00-6:00 in the Kindergarten-8th Grade position. Looking for candidates for both groups. Can apply for a 5 day a week position, or less. MUST be able to work at least 3 days a week, including Fridays! Must be 21+ to work with the PK group, 18+ for the K-8 Group. Option for additional hours on early dismissal days etc if wanted. Positions to start at the beginning of August 2026. Would make an excellent job for a college student or someone just needing a few hours a week work!
Basic Duties.
- Provide care and support to children in school setting
- Assist with daily afternoon activities
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in
- Monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of incidences during aftercare hours
-Playing & engaging with kids while providing a safe atmosphere for them
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a professional setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to provide academic homework support to students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Ability to pass a background check upon hiring
- Willingness to complete paid hours of required training upon hiring.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or situations
-Promptness and Accountability is a must!
