Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automatic Screen Print Press Operator to join our production team in Waterloo. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automatic screen printing presses to produce high-quality apparel. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure all custom garment prints meet our strict quality standards.
Duties
- Setup & Operation: Set up, align, and run automatic screen printing presses according to work orders and client apparel specifications.
- Ink & Materials: Mix inks, match colors, and load garments accurately onto the press.
- Quality Control: Inspect prints during production for accurate registration, color vibrancy, and correct placement.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain automatic press equipment,
- Screens, and squeegees. Perform routine troubleshooting on machines.
- Shop Assistance: Assist with screen reclaiming, emulsion coating, and general shop duties as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience operating automatic screen printing presses.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to troubleshoot automatic press machinery and make mechanical adjustments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Math & Reading: Basic math skills to measure and mix inks; ability to read and interpret detailed job tickets.
- Location: Reliable transportation to our Waterloo facility.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
