Job Summary
Vanguard Care Solutions is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional in-home care and companionship services to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
This role combines hands-on personal care with meaningful emotional support, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. If you are passionate about making a difference and building one-on-one relationships with clients, we’d love to hear from you.
ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care & Daily Living Assistance
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility and transfer support
- Provide medication reminders (or administration if certified and required)
- Assist with mobility equipment and safe transfers, including Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Support clients with specialized care needs such as:
- Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Hospice support
- Mobility limitations
- Long-term care assistance
Companionship & Emotional Support
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities such as games, reading, and hobbies
- Encourage social interaction with family, friends, and the community
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings
Household Support
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance when needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, organizing, and cleaning living spaces
Care Coordination
- Observe and document changes in client condition
- Communicate concerns promptly with supervisors and healthcare professionals
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict client confidentiality
- Follow individualized care plans accurately and professionally
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- Experience as a:
- At least 2 years experience
- Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Companion caregiver
- Assisted living or nursing home caregiver
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation is a plus
- CPR certification highly desirable
