Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ice Cream Scoopers. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our customers. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system (Point of Sale)
- Handle cash transactions and provide change to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the ice cream shop
- Assist with bussing tables and keeping the dining area clean
- Promote and upsell additional products or toppings to enhance the customer experience
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of products
- Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, milkshakes, and other menu items according to customer preferences
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Knowledge of POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
