Position: Direct Support Professional for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an adult male in Teaneck, NJ. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the individual's quality of life by supporting him with daily activities while promoting his independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
The individual lives with Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), a rare genetic condition that causes soft tissues to gradually turn into bone. Because of this condition, care must be provided with patience, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to following established safety guidelines. Previous experience with FOP is not required—training will be provided.
Position Details:
- Hours: Friday 8AM-5PM
- Location: In-person
- Pay Rate: $19 per hour
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a car, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to legally work in the U.S.
