Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to support children's learning and development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Utilize leadership skills to guide and mentor other early childhood educators in the team.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate new strategies into daily activities.
- Support children with diverse learning needs and provide individualized attention when necessary.
- Foster a love for learning through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Uphold standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions with children, families, and colleagues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
- DCF 45- hour certificate (Required)
