Licensed Esthetician Instructor (Part-Time)
MUST HAVE A CURRENT, ACTIVE GEORGIA ESTHETIC INSTRUCTOR LICENSE
Lotus Skin Institute is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Licensed Esthetician Instructor to educate and mentor the next generation of estheticians. We are looking for an instructor who is committed to student success, enjoys teaching in both classroom and clinical settings, and serves as a positive role model while helping students develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in the aesthetics industry.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, patient, dependable, and passionate about continuing education and advanced esthetics.
Schedule
Part-Time
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Optional Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (based on availability for clinical hours)
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, Active Georgia Esthetic Instructor License (Required)
- Current Georgia Esthetician License
- Minimum experience as required by the Georgia State Board for Instructor Licensure
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong knowledge of Georgia State Board regulations and sanitation requirements
- Experience with advanced esthetic treatments is preferred
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on clinical instruction.
- Prepare students to successfully complete the Georgia State Board licensing requirements.
- Teach theory, practical skills, safety, sanitation, infection control, and professional ethics.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for:
- Facials
- Skin analysis
- Waxing
- Tweezing
- Makeup application
- Body treatments
- Chemical peels
- Microdermabrasion
- Dermaplaning
- High Frequency
- LED Light Therapy
- Hydrafacial protocols
- Body contouring modalities
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and practical competencies.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Georgia State Board regulations and school policies.
- Foster a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare classrooms, treatment rooms, and supplies for instruction.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment according to state regulations.
- Supervise students during clinic services and ensure proper sanitation practices.
- Assist with student orientations, practical examinations, and graduation preparation.
- Stay current on industry trends, products, equipment, and treatment techniques.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
- Assist with curriculum development and program improvements as needed.
Student Clinic Responsibilities
During student clinic operations, instructors will supervise and guide students while ensuring clients receive safe and professional services. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing treatment plans and student consultations.
- Monitoring client safety and treatment outcomes.
- Assisting students with treatment modifications when appropriate.
- Explaining treatment expectations, aftercare instructions, and home care recommendations.
- Helping resolve client concerns professionally.
- Ensuring students maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Monitoring inventory and assisting with product recommendations.
