Day Shift Laser Operator
What is a Laser Operator?
The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up and processing work orders utilizing a Laser Table Machine. The operator must have attention to detail to ensure the material is cut according to the work order specifications. Operators are required to maintain and perform preventative maintenance as well as keeping their work area clean. Operator will also load and unload the material that is processed using an overhead crane.
What can you expect from the job?
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday working from 7:00 AM to 3:30PM.
- Exposure to in climate temperatures and noise
- Long periods walking and standing – up to 8 hours a day
- Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 60 lbs.
What are the requirements?
- Valid driver’s license
- 18+ years old
- Basic math skills
- Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- One to two years of laser table operation experience
- Basic trouble shooting and minor repairs
- Must be able to read and utilize a tape measure for accurate measurements.
