Data Center Technician -
Location : Leesburg, VA
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician – L2 Network Support responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network connectivity within enterprise environments. The role focuses on Layer 2 network support, including WiFi infrastructure, switches, and LAN connectivity. This position does not involve fiber optic installation or data center infrastructure management, but supports networking operations that ensure reliable connectivity for business systems.
· Prepare specified server nodes and/or chassis for decommissioning and perform other decommissioning-related tasks, as per direction..
· Install NVMe/SSD devices into specified server nodes .
· Review ticket queue to assign and diagnose hardware related faults for servers.
· Diagnosis of HDD, DIMMs, PSUs, fans, NICs, etc. by reviewing ticket info and BMC/SEL/OS Logs
· Network/power fault remediation, reseat/replace cables, NICs and PSUs cables.
· The Supplier will install NVMe/SSD devices into specified server nodes .
