Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility
- Manage inventory levels through effective stock control and inventory management systems, ensuring product availability
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cashing out with professionalism and precision
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring timely order fulfillment and delivery
- Maintain detailed records of parts sales, customer interactions, and inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar tools
- Support vehicle maintenance and repair processes by diagnosing basic automotive issues and recommending appropriate parts or services
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized service
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or retail sales within a dealership or automotive environment
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and automotive repair processes
- Familiarity with inventory management software, CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office suite, and POS systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales
- Previous experience in dealership settings or automotive service centers is preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
