CDL-A Truck Driver, New Grads Welcome, Dry Van Regional, $57K-$78K, Birmingham, MI
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated dry van regional account running the Great Lakes area, with hubs across Michigan including Detroit, Romulus, Battle Creek, Toledo, and Kalamazoo. This is a beginner-friendly position for drivers who already have their CDL-A - trainees and experienced first-seat drivers are both welcome. Drivers run close-to-home regional lanes with a mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload freight.
PAY & COMPENSATION
Estimated annual pay: $57,000 - $78,000
Average weekly pay: $1,100 - $1,500
Starting CPM: $0.56 per mile (first 0-6 months)
Weekly mileage: ~1,500 - 2,000 miles
SCHEDULE & HOME TIME
Home on weekends
Regional routes only (Great Lakes / Michigan area)
Dedicated account with consistent freight and schedule
EQUIPMENT
Dry van trailers
ELD-equipped, DOT compliant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a CDL-A dry van tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
Ensure on-time deliveries on assigned lanes
REQUIREMENTS
Valid CDL-A license
Trainees and first-seat experienced drivers welcome (1+ year experience preferred)
Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
Safe driving record and professional work history
