Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Supervise children during playtime, meal times, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs in accordance with safety protocols
- Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and caregivers
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
