Our medical assistants play a vital role by providing both administrative and clinical support, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Escorting patients to examination rooms and preparing them for procedures.
Assisting providers with patient examinations and treatments.
Taking vital statistics and updating medical information through EMR.
Providing patient education and instructions regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Scheduling patient appointments.
Answering phone calls.
Updating and maintaining patient medical records.
Preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
Following protocols and procedures.
Following privacy regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Other duties as assigned.
